CO-EXECUTIVE PRODUCER  (Tom Proper)

Tom Proper has worked as a Post-Production Supervisor on dozens of films over the last twenty years.  Tom & Kyle met working on BOYS AND GIRLS in 2000.  A longtime advocate for REPARATION, Tom guided the film through post production.  Credits: SIN CITY; MACHETE KILLS; GRINDHOUSE; SPY KIDS; DIVINE SECRETS OF THE YA-YA SISTERHOOD.

 

DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY  (Jay Silver)

Jay Silver is a Brooklyn-based D.P. who grew up in Chicago, IL.  His credits include LAST RITES OF JOE MAY,  23 BLAST, PERSONA AU GRATIN, THE LIMBO ROOM, MARIA FULL OF GRACE (camera op), as well as dozens of shorts and commercials.

 

UNIT PRODUCTION MANAGER  (Veronica Diaz)

Veronica Lynn Diaz is a Los Angeles based production manager known primarily for her work on independent feature films in the Indianapolis area. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Miami with a degree in Motion Pictures. She has also held a production management role on films in Chicago and Puerto Rico. Several of the films Veronica worked on have received acclaim at national and international film festivals.

 

POST PRODUCTION SOUND  (Studio Unknown)

Studio Unknown is a Maryland-based, full-service, Dolby® tuned facility equipped with a 5.1 dubbing stage and full in-house editorial suites and foley stage.  Studio Unknown’s primary focus is on sound for film.  Their team includes: Kevin Hill, CAS (re-recording mixer and dialogue editor); Matt Davies, MPSE (sound designer and foley artist); Jaime Horrigan (audio post coordinator); Megan Zontek (sound effects editor).

 

COMPOSER  (Devan Yanik)

Devan Yanik and Kyle have been friends since 8th grade.  Based in Memphis, Devan has been a professional musician and songwriter for over 20 years.  Having never settled on any particular musical genre, Devan plays a variety of instruments and writes many styles of music. REPARATION is Devan’s first film score.

 

PRODUCTION SOUND MIXER (Sonny Wingler)

Sonny Wingler is an Indiana-based sound mixer known for his work on PROXY, SCALENE, and TRICK MY TRUCK.

 

COSTUME DESIGNER  (Sami Martin Sarmiento)

Sami Martin Sarmiento has worked as a designer and style consultant in Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York.  She studied fashion design and European costume history in Paris through her studies at Parsons School of Design and also graduated from their New York school.  Sami made her entry into film with the indie feature TWEAKER WITH AN AXE (assistant costume designer) and the dark comedy short HELP WANTED.  More recently, she completed work as the costume designer for CLARA’S CARMA, a short comedy film directed by Robert Brinkmann, starring Stephen Tobolowsky and Alex Dawson.

 

PUTNAM COUNTY, INDIANA  (Community)

Elodie Ichter (MALEFICENT, DEAR WHITE PEOPLE, THE WOLF OF WALL STREET) did all of our digital color correction at Efilm, delivering the picture its rich color and brooding shadows.   Bev Wood, Josh Haynie & Chris Taft made it all possible, along with Deluxe Digital Cinema.

 

PRODUCTION DESIGNER  (G. Duane Skoog)

Duane Skoog has spent the last thirty-five years sketching, designing, rendering, tweaking, building, painting, loading-in, loading-out, swearing at, repairing, and coddling the scenery and lighting of various live productions. His experiences include stage, television, and industrial productions. He has taught production design and technical direction at the university level for many years.

 

“A” CAMERA & STEADICAM  (Evan Barthelman)

Evan Barthelman is a freelance Steadicam operator, director of photography, and camera operator based in Los Angeles, CA.  A longtime friend of Kyle’s, Evan was the first official crew member to commit to making REPARATION.

 

SCENIC ARTIST  (Barbara Fields Timm)

Barbara Fields Timm holds an MFA in painting from the University of Pennsylvania.  She has taught at DePauw University and in the Corrections Education Program at Indiana State University.  An award-winning painter, Barbara continues to produce work and exhibit regionally.  Barbara created all of Charlotte’s original drawings for REPARATION.

 

KEY MAKE-UP ARTIST  & HAIR STYLIST

(Kim Conolly)

Kim Conolly is an accomplished and creative makeup artist with experience in all aspects of the media makeup field, including film/tv, video, print, and special effects.  Kim trained in Toronto where she was privileged to hone her craft at Complections Intl, studying under award winning makeup Artist Jordan Samuel.  Kim handled all key hair and make-up for REPARATION, including special effects make-up.

 

SPECIAL EFFECTS  (Thomas J. Pitts)

Tom Pitts is a producer, special effects artist, photography, volunteer, and multiple business owner.  He has been the owner/operator of “Thomas James Productions”, an entertainment technology company, for over two decades.  He is a member of the “International Brotherhood of Magicians” where, at one time, he was a performer.

 

DEPAUW UNIVERSITY  (Community)
